Millennium Tours to China with the U.S.-China Educational Exchange The U.S.-China Educational Exchange is organizing a number of Millennium Tours to China between now and summer 1990. Our classic tour of the golden route departs on June 30, 2000. This tour will be led by our Director, Dr. Yong Ho. We will fly via United Airlines to Hong Kong to begin a two-week visit to six cities in the following order: Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Guilin, Xi'an, Beijing and Shanghai. These are exactly the five cities that President Clinton went to on his visit to China in 1998. Highlights of the trip are attached at the end of this announcement. The package tour price is $2340, which covers: *International airfare to and from China (U.S. departure) *Domestic airfare from Guangzhou to Guilin, Guilin to Xi'an, Xi'an to Beijing and Beijing to Shanghai; boat or train fare from Hong Kong to Guangzhou *Superior first-class hotel accommodations in each location *Three meals every day, unless we are in transit *Acrobatic show in Shanghai *Special Beijing Duck Dinner in Beijing *Transfers and sightseeing by air-conditioned motor coach/bus *Admission and fees to temples, shrines, museums, etc. *Services of English speaking guides for sightseeing and transfers The tour price is based on double occupancy. If you prefer to have a single room or if we can't find a roommate for you, you will pay a single supplement. Our previous trips have all been successful. Additional service fee of $50 per person will apply to any person deviating from the group movement. Deviation is defined as departure for and from China on a different date from the group schedule. 2. A late booking fee of $50 per person will apply to booking received within 30 days prior to arrival date. 3. Once the ticket is issued, a ticket change fee of $150 per ticket is required.
