Q. Can my out-of-status child get scholarships to attend college?

A. Most colleges, both public and private, have "merit" scholarships for outstanding students. With some exceptions, these funds are available to out-of-status students. In my experience, private colleges have more money available for merit scholarships. Note that these scholarships are available only to the best students.
